What do I do exactly?

I am an Interface/Front-End Developer. I raise the bridge between server-side code and visual design. A large percentage of my time is spent writing modular CSS code and custom jQuery plugins; along with HTML5 markup.

Before doing front-end code, I worked as a PHP developer. I thought this was what I wanted to do, but I decided against it a couple of years later, and pursued client-side code. I've recently been getting into the basics of iOS development; JS design patterns; and more Rails techniques.

When on a front-end team, my job never just consists of writing code. Far from it. I often get the opportunity to help scope projects with the directors and New Business team; I also wireframe out any complex areas of a project (Not just outlining it; but producing detailed User Stories, Groups and Workflows).
